In the last weeks of the year, we delivered the ASV mKurs for the Office of Inland Navigation in Szczecin as a part of a contract to build, equip and deliver a portable autonomous surface vessel intended for hydrographic research on inland waterways.
The mKurs was delivered with a wide range of equipment, including NORBIT iLidar, a GNSS RTK positioning system, a BathyLogger dual-frequency single-beam echosounder and a remotely controlled SVP winch, dedicated to AML sound velocity profilers. We have also adapted the unit to mount all elements of the NORBIT iWBMS multibeam echosounder system. At the customer’s request, we provided a homologated launching trailer and a high-class transport box, ensuring safe movement and storage of the ASV.
The mKurs was provided to the Office’s surveying team as a part of the project “Portable autonomous surface vessel intended for hydrographic research in inland waterways as a tool to counteract extraordinary environmental threats for the Inland Navigation Office in Szczecin”, co-financed by the Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Szczecin.
